Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen4 Official Now with Great Performance Data

>Today, Qualcomm has officially released its next generation flagship processor, Snapdragon 8s Gen4, New Product Media."Based on 4nm technology, this chipset features 1+7 CPU architecture, consisting of one 3.25Ghz X4 super core and seven A720 performance cores with varying clock speeds three at 3.0GHz, two at 2.8GHz and two at 2.0GHz.

This new architecture delivers significant performance improvements over its predecessor, including a 31% increase in CPU performance, a 49% boost in GPU performance, and a 44% enhancement in AI capabilities. Despite these power gains, energy efficiency has been improved by 39%, ensuring better performance with reduced power consumption.

The Hexagon NPU has been optimized with an improved microarchitecture and larger shared memory, contributing to a 44% increase in AI processing power. Thanks to multi-language terminal-side generative AI, the chipset supports mainstream AI models such as DeepSeek. Qualcomm has also integrated a sensor hub to further enhance AI capabilities, delivering a 60% increase in AI performance while reducing power consumption.

On the imaging front, the Snapdragon 8s Gen4 features an 18-bit AI triple ISP, enabling advanced photography functions like Night Vision night mode, real-time skin tone, and sky correction, and unlimited semantic segmentation. It also supports hardware ray tracing for enhanced graphics and includes Bluetooth 6.0 and Qualcomm’s extended personal area network for improved connectivity.

Several leading smartphone brands, including Xiaomi, OPPO, and iQOO, have confirmed that they will launch devices powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen4 in the coming months, making it one of the most anticipated mobile chipsets of the year.
